Our story
We started because we read the label.
It was 2011. One of our dogs was going through a bag of treats a week, the kind with ingredient lists that scroll past the fold and include words that don't belong in food. We weren't looking to start a company. We were just looking for something better.
It turned out the answer was already thousands of years old. And it came from the Himalayas

The discovery
The cheese that changed everything.
In the mountain villages of Nepal, herders have made churpi for centuries. It's a hard cheese , one of the most durable, shelf-stable foods in the world. Made for people who live at altitude and can't afford to waste a thing.
